Sobre o CIAPSoc

O Centro Interinstitucional de Análise de Políticas Sociais - CIAPSoc tem por objetivo ser uma rede interinstitucional de pesquisadores de políticas sociais, incentivando trabalhos coletivos entre os membros e adensando a rede no tempo. A intenção é tanto realizar pesquisas em suas respectivas universidades, como buscar apoio institucional para promover parcerias entre pesquisadores, afiliados a instituições diversas, que tenham as políticas sociais como seu principal objeto de análise - seja com foco em um país específico ou numa perspectiva comparada. Acima de tudo, trata-se de instância de fomento à pesquisa, ao ensino e à extensão envolvendo, também, alunos de graduação e de pós-graduação, além de incentivos ao intercâmbio estudantil. O CIAPSoc é formado por professores e pesquisadores do Departamento de Ciência Política (DCP) da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), da Universidade da Integração Internacional da Lusofonia Afro-Brasileira (Unilab), Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA), da Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), Fundação João Pinheiro (FJP), Fundação Getúlio Vargas, Universidade de Pittsburgh, por estudantes de doutorado, mestrado e graduação. Aberto a novas parcerias e a novos membros, os integrantes do CIAPSoc estão envolvidos diretamente na pesquisa sobre políticas sociais no Brasil, na América Latina e na Europa, tendo diversas áreas setoriais de interesse.  O CIPASoc faz parte do Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia - Qualidade de Governo e Políticas Públicas para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável (INCT-QualiGov).

About CIAPSoc

The Interinstitutional Center for Social Policy Analysis (CIAPSoc) aims to be an interinstitutional network of social policy researchers, encouraging collective work among members and strengthening the network over time. The goal is to conduct research at their respective universities and seek institutional support to foster partnerships between researchers affiliated with various institutions who have social policies as their primary focus—whether focusing on a specific country or from a comparative perspective. Above all, it is a body that promotes research, teaching, and outreach, also involving undergraduate and graduate students, in addition to encouraging student exchanges. CIAPSoc is comprised of professors and researchers from the Department of Political Science (DCP) of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), the University for the International Integration of Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB), the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), the João Pinheiro Foundation (FJP), the Getúlio Vargas Foundation, and the University of Pittsburgh, as well as doctoral, master's, and undergraduate students. Open to new partnerships and new members, CIAPSoc members are directly involved in social policy research in Brazil, Latin America, and Europe, with diverse sectoral areas of interest.

CIAPSoc is part of the National Institute of Science and Technology - Quality of Government and Public Policies for Sustainable Development (INCT-QualiGov).
